CBS MBA CLASS of 2015: JOIN THE TOUR NOW!
Interested in traveling before starting school? Do you want to meet your future classmates? Contact the Chief Coordinators now!
Who is this trip for?
The CBS World Tour is organized by admitted students for their own entering class of 2015. Whether you live in the United States, one of our destination cities, or any other city in the world, you are invited to join us.
How Are the Tours Organized?
The tour is led by the Chief Coordinators (Michael Adams and Adrian Grabicki at [email protected]). It's designed to be flexible, so you can meet up for a just few days or even a few weeks any time during the summer.
The Travel Team Captains will be working directly with other fellow admits (Ambassadors) from each of the destination cities to coordinate cultural activities, company visits, and transportation logistics. While some Travel Team Captains have either lived or worked in these destinations, others are volunteering as a way to broaden their leadership experience in an unfamiliar environment. All travelers are responsible for covering their own costs and booking their own airfare.
Why Should I Go on the World Tour?
Make the most of your summer vacation before beginning business school in August! Meet your future CBS classmates from around the globe and have fun while broadening your cultural perspectives.
The objectives of this trip include:
1) Cultural: obtain a global perspective through cultural immersion and gain a true appreciation for diversity and different ways of life
2) Social: meet other students, alumni, industry executives (and even random locals) while having a great time abroad
3) Professional: visit with executives and alumni from various organizations in order to identify opportunities and build a global network
We recognize that you have your own plans and objectives for this Summer. That's why we have made the tour flexible and available for everyone to enjoy in their own capacity.
Who Provides Support for the Tour?
The tour is NOT organized or supported by Columbia Business School. It is a completely self-driven initiative taken up by the internationally diverse student body.
