Looking for Good People to Help Out!
TEAM CAPTAINS
Team captains organize and lead one of the eight main sections of the world tour. All eight Captains work together as a team to determine high-level decisions such as itinerary, timeline, and communicate directly with various institutions such as admissions office, alumni chapters, club leaders, etc.
Team Captains are responsible for three main functions. 1) recruiting and leading their own team of country ambassadors, 2) marketing and managing all traveler registration for their tracks, and 3) making sure everything gets done according to timeline. All team captains should plan to travel the entire duration of their respective tracks.
COUNTRY AMBASSADORS
Ambassadors organize all the details for a specific country or city along the tour. This includes, selecting a hotel, transportation, scheduling executive visits, happy hours, tourist attractions, transportation logistics, etc. Essentially, they are the official tour guides for a full week, so they must travel with the group and be available 24/7 during that trip. Ambassadors should plan to have 5-12 travelers in each group.
Ideally, Ambassadors are local admits who are not working and able to spend the entire week with the group of travelers. If there are no local admits available for the role, preference will be given to other volunteers who either speak the local language or have traveled to that location in the past. Ambassadors will communicate directly with their Team Captains, confirmed travelers, and local industry executives.
